October 16 - Source Selection | Inline Sources | Sharing Grids
Updated over a month ago

Hi All,

I know we recently updated you on some big changes to Model ML. But our team is moving incredibly fast, and I have a few more exciting updates to share!

Source Selection

You can now specify which data source you want the model to use for information.

  • For example: For a company, you can ask the model to get its headcount from LinkedIn and its cap table from Crunchbase using the source selection tool.

Inline Sources

Easily see and click sources on every piece of information the model provides.

  • For example, if you want to verify the numbers from a quarterly earnings report, you can click the inline source button next to the model's output to drill down into the original document.

Sharing Grids

You can now instantly share the grid you have open with anyone on your team and without the need to first save it as a template. Here’s a demo:

Clear Prompts and Answers

Easily clear prompts and/or cell outputs using the new Clear Prompts option under Edit → Clear Prompts.

  • For example: you can have a template with fixed column headings setup and clear just the rows to replace them with a new list of companies you are researching on.

Flip Rows/Column

You can now easily swap the prompts in your rows with those in your columns, enhancing grid flexibility. To flip the rows and columns, use the toolbar to click Edit → Flip Rows/Column.

What’s Coming Next?

Our pipeline of upcoming deployments is long and exciting:

  • Preview before exporting to PowerPoint or Word

  • Support for .txt and .msg (email) file types

  • Logos in Excel

Stay tuned, and as always, we welcome your feedback!

Cheers,

Chaz
