You can query transcripts in the same way you would query online information, paid data sources, or your files. Also, you can attach any type of data source to your query
Thread View
For instance, consider that you have an attached pitch deck and initial calls with the founders and management team. Your queries might include:
"Who did the founders say are already on their cap table when we spoke to them on the call?"
"Who does their pitch deck say their other investors are?"
"According to Crunchbase, who are their other shareholders?"
The response from the transcript is delivered along with its source. Notably, the precise timestamps used to construct your answer will be provided. These timestamps can be clicked on to access the corresponding part in the transcript.
Grid View
To extract similar information from multiple calls, consider creating a grid template. If you have a list of questions that require answers from the calls, apply the grid on the calls.
Remember, the grid can also be used against not just calls, but also files, online, and paid data sources. For instance, if you are building out sections of an IC memo or a CIM, and those pieces are condensed versions of information either online, in your files, or in your VDR (that you have uploaded), or were answered on various calls (like Management, customers, experts, etc.), the grid approach is recommended. Don't hesitate to reach out if you need assistance with this.
